He Will

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on our own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Prov 3:5-6)

Today I am loving Him for a familiar word that never stops teaching Truth and giving Life.

I think of all the crossroads and unknowns and what ifs in my life that this verse has spoken to before. I remember numerous times I’ve needed to repeat that phrase again and again, “lean not on your own understanding, lean not…” I can even see the rightness of paths when He was trusted.

Yes. This verse. Familiar to my ears. Proven and dear to my heart.

Trust. Lean not. Acknowledge Him. He will.

Yesterday, today, and forever.
